The campus is so pleasant early in the morning. That makes me feel way better about getting up at like 6am. Tbh, I think I’d rather be awake when it’s cool and sunny and quiet than from like midnight to 4am when I hate myself and everything around me and can’t get anything done.

I really need to wash my shoes, they smell fucking gross.

The new Hunx album is fucking great

In case you were wondering.

Worst nightmare

I was driving to the grocery store and I noticed something moving in front of my face which I quickly realized was a spider dropping down from the viser on my car. As if this wasn’t bad enough, the spider then dropped off its thread and fell somewhere in my car and I didn’t know where it went so I drove to the grocery store on the verge of tears because I hate spiders and I had no idea where this one went because it disappeared so quickly and omg what if it was crawling on me. I still haven’t found it so I know it’s still chilling in my car somewhere and it will inevitably scare the shit out of me again.

On the bright side, I erased ~$400 of library fines by donating one canned good per item. Forgive a Fine day is definitely the greatest thing to ever exist.

My mom’s 60th birthday is on Saturday and instead of taking her out for dinner, my sister had the brilliant idea of turning my mom’s house into a “restaurant” while she is out working and cook a 4 course meal for her. My sister is in charge of the table/decorations, and I’m in charge of the cooking. I think I finally decided on the menu.

Appetizer: Bacon-wrapped dates with balsamic glaze

Salad: Arugula salad with carmelized pears, toasted walnuts, and blue cheese

Dinner: Shrimp scampi served over spaghetti (one of my mom’s favorites) with parmesan puff pastry twists

Dessert: Chocolate lava cake served on top of a red wine reduction

Sometimes my sister and I are grossly thoughtful children.

I fucking love pretzel sticks you guise. Like, I could easily eat half a bag in one sitting.

My library cubicle is filled with passive aggressive arguments about absolutely nothing. And drawings of pot leaves.
